<p>This document lists all the information related to collective labor agreements and wages for the year 2008. In particular, you will find, by industry, the adjustment of wages by economic sector, the number of people subject to a collective agreement, wage agreements by industry, a glossary &#8230;</p>
<p>For information, here are the different types of collective agreement (CLA) found in Switzerland:</p>
<p>CTC corporate enterprise collective agreements are concluded between one or several unions and a company or group of companies.</p>
<p>CTC extended these CTC cover all workers belonging to the same industry, profession or economic activity. These often relate CTC industrial sectors.</p>
<p>CTC associations: These agreements are concluded between one or more unions and one or more employers&#8217; associations.</p>

<p>In one year, the number of unemployed grew by 11%, said Thursday the Office cantonal de l&#8217;emploi (ECO). Geneva remains fairly far the canton with the unemployment rate the highest, compared to the average Swiss emerged at 3.4% in March as the previous month.</p>
<p>In annual comparison, the business sectors most affected by rising unemployment in March in Geneva were the metallurgical industry (114%), watch-jewelry (103%) and banks (77%).</p>
